Dovje – Sun and views of the Triglav

North of Triglav National Park lies the village of Dovje. A quiet village in an ideal spot for your stay in Slovenia. Besides a church, a pizzeria and a bar, Dovje doesn’t have many faccilities. But a 200-metre walk away is Mojstrana, where you’ll find a supermarket and ATM.

One of the most beautiful views in Slovenia can be had from the flats in this village. Dovje is a small elongated village set against the slopes of the Karawanken mountain range. Thanks to this location, Dovje always has sunshine and a unique view of Slovenia’s highest mountain, the Triglav.

Dovje consists mainly of old small-scale farms. In the middle of the village, you might just see a cow, horse or tractor passing by.
